Banksy in Camperdown, Sydney, Australia...?

I saw this grafitti on a wall in Camperdown, Sydney.
It looks like a Banksy...but i cannot confirm this.
I believe he is/was here recently
for the 17th Biennale of Sydney.

Happy Flies

Whilst pegging out some washing yesterday,
I noticed these two little creatures quietly purched
upsidedown on the clothes line.
I swear they had a cheeky grin on their happy little faces.
They were there for well over an hour...!

Bats on a wire #6

Today I spotted this poor dead Bat hanging on the power lines
in my street. It has been very windy in Sydney this week
and the bat looks like it could drop at any minute.

MARS: The Happiest Planet

Martians officially voted happiest
creatures in the solar system.....
and to celebrate, they built a monument on their planet for all to see.

Meanwhile, planet Earth finally

Caught in the act.

I awoke to a strange and persistent

I went to investigate and saw these two going softly at it.

Hover Bike ?

I saw this funny sign in a park in Newtown, Sydney.

It could be interpreted in so many ways.

I like to think of it as 'Hover bike'.

Feel free to come up with your own interpretations.

Bats on a wire #3

This bat was in Stanmore, just near the train station.
It's the second bat i have seen this week.

It looks like it is hovering in the wind like
an eagle about to swoop on its prey.

Bats on a wire #2

This bat was near my house in Stanmore, Sydney.
When i was photographing it,
i saw a woman looking at it with her binoculars.
She was from an animal rescue group
(ironically called w.i.r.e.s)
and she told me that sometimes they find
a baby bat still alive and clinging to the dead mother bat.
On this occasion, there was no baby bat.

Bats on a wire #1

Summer in Sydney is usually accompanied by the appearance of electrocuted bats dangling from the overhead power lines that litter our streets.

The bats look like insects trapped in high tech spider webs.

Suspended in grusome, twisted poses,
a transient monument to their last few seconds of life.

Was it a quick death ?...probably
....a painless death ?...i hope so...
but their curled up toes may indicate otherwise.
This summer i plan to photograph and document these poor unfortunate bats.

This Bat was in Newtown, Sydney.

Residue

Arriving home this afternoon, I noticed this dead piece of chewed up apple on the concrete in the front yard.
The sun was at just the right angle to reveal/expose a multitude of snail and slug trails to and from the apple.

It looked so wonderful, i just had to photograph it. I like to think that there was this frenzied feast taking part during the night and that the snail and slug trails are the only evidence of that event.

Like blood splatters left at a murder scene, the trails hint at the brutality of the attack on that poor defenceless piece of apple. Poor little apple.
